CASH PT PRACTICE

Physiotherapy is the common term for my profession in most every country, except the United States.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I want to be your resource when you’re getting ready to play your first round of golf or step up to bat at the first softball game of the year and want to make sure your body is in the best condition it can be for what you are going to ask it to do. I also want to be your resource if something does go wrong and you walk off the course with something in your ankle not feeling quite right or shoulder a bit sore after making the throw to the plate from center field.

The common phrase is, “I’m going to see the Physio about this knee…” This develops a model of developing a personal relationship with your healthcare that is tailored to your life, body, and physical needs.

It is common for people to see their Physio on a similiar check-up model as we see the dentist here in the United States. You can utilize the expertise and services provided by a movement specialist beyond just needing to resolve pain or injury.

MONADOCK PHYSIO IS A CASH PT PRACTICE.

CASH PT PRACTICE

Treatment techniques include:

  • Lymphatic stimulation and drainage and associated viscerally targeted mobilization
  • Lymphatic stimulation and drainage and manual techniques targeted at the organs and structures that support best functioning of the immune system
  • Instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation
  • Joint mobilization
  • Spinal loading strategies to target sciatica and other related radiating symptoms
  • Kinesiology taping
  • Visual and vestibular rehabilitation including post concussive symptoms and vertigo
  • Targeted exercise performance and prescription to restore postural balance and active muscular stabilization
  • Improve mobility and movement to prevent injury or re-injury
  • Breathwork to calm or stimulate the central nervous system to manage the effects of stress on the body

My treatment philosophy is to make the body feel safe.

To make the body feel safe the brain needs to be safe.

Pain is the easiest way for your body to ask for change when it doesn’t feel safe doing the things you’re asking it to do.

When the body’s sensors don’t feel safe they trigger the “fire alarm” of your brain and you feel pain.

The key to calming and moving out of pain is learning how to turn off that alarm and reset the code so the next time around it takes a more intense distruption to get tripped again.

I want to improve your bodies connection to the brain’s control of how your body feels at rest and in motion.

I will get a clear picture of how every system in your body is contributing to your health and wellness and potentially current state of pain is dysfunction.

We will incorporate all of the systems of the body so we can more clearly generate a treatment plan together that best allows you to reach you goals.
